The cable laying monitoring system is the key to ensuring construction quality. The control system consists of two main parts: underwater and above water.

Underwater part, namely the buried plow part, mainly monitors the working condition of the submarine cable buried plow, obtains the buried depth of the submarine cable and the underwater buried path. The monitoring sensors for the underwater part are installed on the sled board of the buried machine and the upper part of the blade arm of the buried machine, and the data is transmitted to the monitoring computer onboard through the signal cable dragon.

On the water, that is, on the deck of the construction vessel, the laying speed, traction tension and laying allowance control are mainly monitored. The part above water includes DGPS modules, auxiliary monitoring sensors, and a central control computer system. The central control computer system processes all collected underwater and surface data, and intuitively reflects the routing trajectory of the underwater buried machine, pump pressure, buried machine posture, submarine cable burial depth, submarine cable tension, submarine cable surplus consumption rate, as well as environmental variable data such as water depth, ocean currents, tides, etc. Technical personnel closely monitor various data and promptly report any changes to the construction command personnel.

On the basis of previous upgrades, our company has now obtained the HL-4 submarine cable monitoring software system with independent intellectual property rights.
