The laying and buried depth of submarine cables

Ultra-short baseline technology are applied to underwater localization.

Product details

Submarine optical cables are transported by professional construction ships, and transported and laid on or below the seabed by cable-laying machines or buried plows and other equipment carried by ships. This construction process is called submarine cable laying. The buried depth of submarine cables is a common way of laying submarine optical cables nowadays. The buried plow carried by construction ships uses high-pressure water jetting to trench on the seabed, and the submarine cables move forward synchronously with the buried plough to achieve the effect of laying while burying.

The independently developed buried plow can not only meet the industry standard of 0-3m burial depth, but also meet the 3-5m burial depth requirement for special working conditions of crossing waterways. Its maximum actual burial depth for project applications reaches 6m.

Our company has multiple independently developed buried plows, which can not only meet the industry standard of 0-3m burial depth, but also meet the 3-5m burial depth requirements for special working conditions of crossing waterways. The maximum actual burial depth for project applications can reach 6m.
