Shanghai Cable Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (SCOEC) is an ocean (offshore) engineering company specialized in the deep burial, installation and repairing in the field of the submarine power cable, submarine optical fiber cable. The company is also of rich experience for the installation and engineering for the submarine cable and submarine soft pipe. We have gained the qualification for Harbor & Coast Engineering, Safety Production License, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004,New High-tech enterprise license,etc.
We own the fixed assets more than 80 million RMB including the professional installation vessels, engineering facilities, office site, yard and warehouse, etc.
There are about 110 work staffs. More than 50 of them are the senior, middle ranked technicians.
The annual income of the company comes to around 150 million in RMB.
We are always engaged in the installation and burial of the submarine cables and submarine soft pipes. Till now, the length of the cables that we have installed is over 5000 km . We adopt the technology of “LAYING & BURYING”. And the maximum depth of burial can be 6.0 meters below the seabed.
In the power industry, we have installed Paper Insulated Cable and XLPE insulated cable; while in the telecommunication industry, we have installed the coaxial cables, river-cross telecommunication cable, shallow water submarine optical fiber cables, cable along with hard rock sea bed conditions, etc. We have the experience and ability to undertake projects with long length cable route.
Our projects are always within the offshore coast area, such as in South China Sea，East Sea, Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. We also involved the projects like Pearl River, Yangzi River, Dongting Lake and Taihu Lake, etc.
Our clients are the Power Utilities, Offshore Wind Generation companies, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Union Telecom, and ChinaNet Telecom, etc. We also provide the service to the orther national telecommunication projects.
Good reputations are gained from our customers with the successful operation and acceptance to their projects.
In recent years, we are also active in the new energy projects such as offshore wind farms. We achieved the Shanghai East Sea Bridge Wind Farm Project (Phase I and II, 2*100MW). We also cooperated with famous research institutes in China to study the offshore, deep sea observation submarine cable projects, including some Research Institute，No. 715 Research Institute, No. 23 Research Institute, Tongji University and so on.
